How FOCUS uses AI

AI in FOCUS is an assistive mechanism, not a source of final decisions.

What it does

It processes free-form text and suggests task names, priority, and approximate duration. At the user’s request it can identify a few major subtasks.

Where it can be wrong

The model can misunderstand context, over- or under-estimate priority or time, or suggest poor decomposition. That is why its output can be edited manually.

What it does not do

FOCUS does not use AI to diagnose ADHD, assess mental health, or prescribe treatment.
